My Internship At Mix Media Solutions

TGIF!

So being a PR major, everyday I’m told how important internships are. Now a days you NEED an internship in order to even get a job after graduation. And I didn’t just pay hundreds no wait, thousands of dollars to be jobless after I graduate so I’ve been trying to get as many internships as I possibly can.

January in 2011 and Summer 2011 I had my first internship with a company called Mix Media Solutions LLC. Mix Media Solutions does social media marketing, website development, digital pringt and design branding and overalll marketing for clients.

I learned SO much at this internship. What was cool is I was also able to work on side projects that my boss, Jess Loren, had going on. I am a writer for Socialtechpop.com and I helped come up with the content for Dresscodeable.com, two websites Jess Loren created.

I was able to gain a HUGE contact list also from the internship which is priceless. This internship was a great first step in becoming a professional myself and I am so grateful for  everyone at Mix that helped me and taught me throughout the internship there.

Make sure to go to Socialtechpop.com to check out some stories I wrote!

Cheers!
